With the release of the Resource Hero v11.9 Lightning Component Security Update, we are introducing significant security enhancements to several of our lightning components, with the goal of bolstering our application’s security and aligning with Salesforce’s fundamental value of Trust.
Users must now have the appropriate object, field, and class access to fully access and use the following lightning components:
Component Permission Sets:
Each component includes a corresponding permission set with all the necessary permissions for access. You can directly assign these sets to users or clone and customize them to meet your specific security needs.
- Resource Hero – Legacy Time Tracking Component
- Resource Hero – Enhanced Time Tracking Component
- Resource Hero – Manage Assignments Component
- Resource Hero – Find Resource Component
Actions Required:
After upgrading, you may need to make changes to ensure your users can continue accessing Resource Hero components. Therefore, we recommend installing the upgrade in a sandbox first to test it before deploying it in production.
