Redesigned Find Resource and new date navigation
A major update to the Find Resource component that makes it easier than ever to search for and select the best-fit resource for an assignment:
- Redesigned Capability / Availability View – See key criteria and availability match information at a glance, then expand a resource’s row for detailed capacity and utilization metrics as well as larger, and more intuitive charts.
- Added Date Navigation – View resource availability with Day, Week, and Month options across a range of rolling and fixed time periods.
- Redesigned Criteria Builder – Refreshed styling for the Field / Skill dropdown, operator selection, and value entry. A new escape and best-effort save process protects in-progress work, and an unsaved-changes prompt offers the option to discard or save criteria when closing.
Date Navigation Enhancements
Available in both the Find Resources and RH Matrix components:
The Anchor Date button jumps the view to today or to a specific date from a related RH Project, Opportunity, or Resource Assignment. Anchor dates can also set the default starting point for the view. For example, when opening the Matrix on a Project, the view can default to that project’s start date instead of today’s date.
After selecting a date in the interface, click the Refocus Time Range button to refocus the view on that date. For example, after scrolling several quarters ahead in the Matrix to forecast future work, select a cell and then click the Next 3 Months refocus button, that date becomes the far-left column, with the next 3 months displayed from there.
