RH Toolkit, archived hours in Matrix totals, and dark mode (Beta)

RH Toolkit

A new RH Toolkit action on RH Projects and Opportunities changes a record’s forecast in bulk. Every change shows a preview first, and the toolkit offers to take a snapshot before it writes anything.

  • Reconcile sets past forecasts to the hours actually worked and decides what happens to the unused or extra hours.
  • Resolve conflicts moves this record’s hours off days where a resource is booked past capacity by other projects, holidays, or time off.
  • Reshape shifts the plan, sets a new remaining total per assignment, or sets hours over a date range.
  • Hand off moves an assignment’s forecast for a period to another assignment on the record.
  • Snapshots takes, compares, restores, and keeps forecast snapshots.
  • Assignments adds, edits, and deletes the record’s assignments, with Find Resource built in.

Snapshots on Opportunities, Keep Forever, and automatic purge

Snapshots now work on Opportunities as well as RH Projects. Mark a snapshot Keep Forever to protect it from deletion, and set Snapshot Purge After Days in RHA Settings to delete old snapshots automatically. Learn more

Archived assignment hours in RH Matrix totals

The RH Matrix now counts hours on archived assignments in its totals, shown as a row above the labelled Total row. The Actions menu chooses how archived assignments appear: Hide all, Show total only, Show assignments with hours, or Show all assignments. A new Archived Assignments property in Lightning App Builder sets how each matrix opens.

RH Matrix grid upgrade and dark mode

The RH Matrix grid is upgraded and no longer loads inside a frame. The RH Matrix, Find Resource, and RH Status follow Salesforce’s dark mode.

Upgrade notes: Upgrading marks every existing snapshot Keep Forever, so turning on the purge never removes a snapshot you already had. Archived assignment hours now count in RH Matrix totals; to keep the old totals, add the RHA Configuration record Hide Archived Totals in the RH Matrix set to TRUE. Assign the new Resource Hero – RH Toolkit permission set, and add the RH Toolkit action to any Opportunity or RH Project layouts you have customized. Learn more
